Land Rover has launched the online configurator for its upcoming next-generation Range Rover and, among the expected plethora of options, there are a few eye-wateringly expensive ones to choose from.

Although the configurator reveals that Land Rover will offer buyers a fine selection of standard colors, it will also be available with a few expensive paintjobs as well.

While the Premium Metallic Paints come in at $1,950, the SV Bespoke Ultra Metallic Paints (gloss finish) ring in at $4,550, and the SV Bespoke Ultra Metallic Paints (satin finish) will cost you $7,450, one color takes the cake. The SV Bespoke Special Effect Paint (satin finish) Icy White, which is “inspired by the delicate nature of porcelain”, costs the princely sum of $12,050.

Similarly, the wheel selection can leave you gasping. Although there is no shortage of reasonably priced optional wheels, the 23-inch SV Bespoke Forged Style 1079 Black and Dark Grey Gloss wheels cost a total of $7,240.

All in, while picking nearly every option I was able to push the price of this Range Rover Autobiography P530 AWD Long Wheelbase Seven Seater up to $199,129.23. That’s $41,779.93 in extras over the $156,000 base price.

Mind you, that’s a bit of a ridiculous build that includes pet supplies, even though I currently have no dogs and nowhere to take them. The standard-wheelbase Range Rover SE starts at $104,000.

Power comes from a range of engines, which top out with a 523 hp 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8. Available to order now, sales are expected to start this spring in the U.S. How would you spec your ideal Range Rover?
