Tesla’s website no longer offers pricing information for the long-delayed and longer-awaited Roadster and has stopped taking orders for the limited-edition Founders Series model.

When the second-generation Roadster was revealed in concept form, Tesla, as it often does, started taking reservations for the new model. In this case, though, customers had to put down $50,000 for a standard model and $250,000 to get the Founders Series car.

Now, as was noticed by Ryan Davis, information about base prices have disappeared and Tesla appears to no longer be taking reservations for the Founders Series, which may have sold out.

The changes on Tesla’s site reportedly happened between November 13 and December 12. Tesla previously did something similar with the Cybertruck, removing specs and trims, with CEO Elon Musk later saying that the company was planning new trims for the electric pickup truck.

Both the Cybertruck and the Roadster were revealed to much fanfare even though nothing has come of them so far. Musk claimed previously that the Roadster’s development was being delayed to focus on the Cybertruck instead, a decision that may have been encouraged by a growing collection of competing electric pickups that have either started being delivered or are just around the corner.

First shown in 2017, the Roadster promises impressive performance and was a sort of book-end to Tesla’s early life as an automaker, which started with the Lotus-based first-generation Roadster in 2008. Supposedly capable of hitting 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than two seconds and reaching 600 miles (966 km) of range, the new Roadster could have shown how far the company has come.

The leap from concept to production, though, has proven to be a difficult one, and the car was quickly delayed. The latest estimates suggest that the Roadster will start shipping in 2023, “if there’s no major drama,” but seeing as how this is one of the most dramatic moments in automotive history, it’s hard to know what that estimate is worth.

To the people who put down between $50,000 and $250,000, though, it may not be worth enough.
