The long-awaited successor to the Pagani Huayra will be unveiled in mid-September according to a new report.

The hypercar is currently codenamed the C10 and will allegedly premiere on September 12. While that date has yet to be confirmed, it is widely assumed that the car would indeed premiere sometime during 2022.

Speculation about the car’s launch date from The Supercar Blog comes a few months after an image leaked online reportedly showing the new Pagani hypercar and indicating that it will have similarities to the Huayra. While it was later discovered that the leaked image was an official rendering from Pagani from roughly 18 months prior and that design changes had been made since then, it does give us a general idea of what to expect.

Found at the front of the C10 depicted in the rendering are a familiar set of headlights very similar to those of the Huayra and Zonda. In addition, the Italian hypercar sports an overhauled front fascia and bumper. Elsewhere, the shape of the canopy is very familiar for a Pagani and there are also a set of stylish wing mirrors mounted to the doors. The rear-quarters of the car appear more flat and less curvaceous than the Huayra.

Horacio Pagani has previously confirmed that the C10 will feature an updated 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 sourced from AMG and similar to the engine of the Huayra, albeit modified to produce around 850-880 hp. Customers will also have the option between a manual transmission and an automatic with power sent exclusively to the rear wheels. Production will likely be capped to roughly 280 examples.

The most recent iteration of the Pagani Huayra introduced is the track-only R that’s powered by a 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 delivering 838 hp and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm). It remains to be seen if any additional special editions of the Huayra will be introduced before production ends.
