Suppliers And Automakers Disagree On Inflation Reduction Act’s EV $7.5k Tax Credits

The inflation reduction act continues to be a controversial one. In addition to the Korean Government’s letter to the U.S., new documents related to the act show that Ford and Toyota both called on the government to relax requirements inside of the law. However, that’s in direct opposition to what some of their own suppliers want, with domestic mining organizations arguing for the new act.

Jeep And Addax Create Overlanding Trailer To Follow A Wrangler Wherever It Goes

Jeep, together with Addax, has revealed a military-inspired trailer for use with the automaker’s Trail-Rated models. The trailer weighs 850 lbs (386 kg) and features an independent torsion axle suspension that provides 17 inches of ground clearance. The trailer offers 35 cubic feet (991 liters) of storage, ideal for those looking for more carrying capacity when attacking off-road trails.


Caterham Introduces New Mid-Range Seven 340 With 170 HP 2.0-Liter Duratec Engine

Caterham will be introducing a new model to its lineup in the form of the Seven 340. Powered by a 2.0-liter Ford Duratec engine, the new model will replace the popular Seven 275. It gets 25 percent more power than the outgoing 1.6-liter engine, has more low-end torque, and weighs in at just over 500 kg (1,102 lbs).
