Owners of the Tesla Model 3 may soon be able to order a dramatic widebody kit for the car that dramatically overhauls the exterior of the EV and makes it look significantly more aggressive.

This widebody kit has been dreamed up by Adro and the tuner says it needs commitments from at least seven Model 3 owners before it can justify making the kit a reality. If it is made, each kit will cost a cool $5,500 and while that’s a lot of money, the overall impact that it has on the EV’s design is dramatic.

The kit starts at the front end where Adro has designed a new bumper for the Model 3 with a pronounced carbon fiber lip and aero fins on either side. It has then crafted a set of curvaceous front wheel arches that are much wider than those of the standard car. Complementing these new arches are carbon fiber side skirts and equally over-the-top flared wheel arches at the rear.

Adro’s modifications are rounded out at the rear with a fixed carbon fiber wing and a diffuser made from the same lightweight material. We have no doubt that the kit will be a little too excessive for some Model 3 owners but there is a growing aftermarket scene for Tesla vehicles and we’re sure there will be people willing to pre-order this kit.

This kit is not the first time that Adro has worked its magic on the Tesla Model 3. In June last year, the tuner unveiled a series of carbon fiber aerodynamic accessories for the Model 3 and Model Y designed to reduce drag. This kit includes a bold front splitter, side skirts, and a rear diffuser and is said to reduce drag in the Model Y by 4.4% and the Model 3 by 3.2%.
