Lucid has taken a leaf out of Tesla’s playbook and launched a referral program in the U.S. that will provide existing owners with a host of benefits and new customers with discounts.

Current Lucid Air owners will have access to unique referral links through the program that they can share with prospective customers. When one of these links is used to purchase and take delivery of a new Lucid model, the current Lucid owner will receive points that can be used to redeem limited-edition products, vehicle accessories, and branded gear. Additionally, owners can use their points on various Lucid Experiences that include tours of the company’s facilities in Silicon Valley and Arizona.

Among the products available for owners through the referral program are Lucid Air crossbars, a Lucid Connected Home Charging Station, an outdoor car cover, a ski & snowboard mount, all-weather floor mats, a bicycle mount, a kayak mount, and an indoor car cover. Owners will earn 6,000 points for each Lucid Air Pure sold with their referral link, 8,000 points for a Lucid Air Touring, and 10,000 points for a Lucid Air Grand Touring.

New buyers who use a Lucid referral link will receive a $750 discount or lease rebate on the Air Pure, a $1,000 discount or lease rebate on the Air Touring, and a $1,250 discount or lease rebate on the Air Grand Touring. Those who currently own a Lucid Air Sapphire will receive a unique leather duffel bag if they refer someone who also buys a Lucid Air Sapphire. The new owner will also receive a leather duffel bag.
