• Jeep has introduced the new 2025 Gladiator Dark Sky special edition.
  • It features gloss black accents, body-color fenders, and a performance hood.
  • The model is currently available for order and it should cost $43,095.

Jeep loves special editions and they’re adding one more to the lineup for 2025. It’s the Gladiator Dark Sky and it lightly embraces the blackout trend.

Based on the affordable Gladiator Sport S, the special edition wears dark badges and decals as well as gloss black bumper inserts. They’re joined by body-color fender flares and a performance hood that appears to be shared with the popular Gladiator Mojave.

While that’s the extent of the upgrades, Jeep noted customers will be able to order an optional body-color hardtop. This is the first time a body-color roof has been offered on the Sport S as the regular model only offers a black Freedom Top for $1,695.

Given the modest upgrades, it’s nice to see the Dark Sky package only adds $1,495 onto the sticker price. This means the model should retail for $43,095 before a $1,995 destination fee.

Since the Dark Sky is based on the Sport S, drivers can expect to find air conditioning, a push-button ignition, and a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. They’re joined by cloth seats and an eight-speaker audio system.

A 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 resides under the hood, where it produces 285 hp (213 kW / 289 PS) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard four-wheel drive system, which enables the truck to return 17 mpg city, 22 mpg highway, and 19 mpg combined.
