• Polaris has introduced a Signature Edition Slingshot.
  • It features Golden Steel paint with an iridescent sheen.
  • Pricing starts at $36,999 with generous standard kit.

The Polaris Slingshot has never been accused of blending in. With its three-wheeler, two-seater layout, it already looks like it escaped from a design studio that misplaced its rulebook. Now Polaris is turning the volume up again with a new Signature Edition, based on the range-topping R trim.

This version stands out through a distinctive livery that pairs a “color-shifting” Golden Steel finish with Black Crystal accents. The primary shade reads as light blue, but it carries a gold-iridescent sheen that plays with the light and ties into the metallic flakes scattered across the deep black sections.

The exterior also gets black graphics, gold pinstriping, Signature Edition branding, and either blacked-out or machined Polaris emblems to underline its limited-run status. A vented sport hood comes standard, while the trike rolls on black wheels that frame a set of red Brembo calipers.

The exposed two-seater cabin comes with plenty of standard equipment. Front and center sits a 7-inch infotainment display with navigation, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, a backup camera, and even a vehicle locator system in case you forget where you parked your three-wheeled attention magnet.

Other highlights include the Lighting Rockford Fosgate Stage 3 Max audio system and the customizable XKGlow interior lighting that syncs to music and can be controlled by the mobile app.

Like the Slingshot R, the Signature Edition runs Polaris’ familiar 2.0-liter four-cylinder Prostar engine. It produces 204 hp (152 kW / 207 PS) and 149.8 lb-ft (203 Nm) of torque, which in something this light should feel pretty lively.

Buyers have an option between a five-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed automated manual with paddle shifters. The 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) sprint is completed in 4.9 seconds, and top speed is limited to 125 mph (201 km/h).

Production of the Signature Edition will be limited, with pricing starting at $36,999. That makes it the second most expensive model in the 2026 Polaris Slingshot range, slotting between the R at $34,999 and the Grand Touring at $41,999. At the bottom of the ladder sits the entry-level S priced from $24,999.
