Jeep is leaning on cinematic nostalgia with a new Wrangler special edition, which it says was inspired by the Indiana Jones films. But you better temper expectations, as the Wrangler Rubicon Trail Hunt Edition is limited to just 20 units, and all of them are reserved for South Korea.

The changes are easy enough to spot. Black side decals run along the profile, paired with beadlock alloy wheels. There are wider fenders, a hood deflector, and a stainless steel roof rack with a side ladder. One detail worth noting is the JPP high-performance wipers, which use 12 laser-cut holes to spray washer fluid directly onto the glass.
Buyers in South Korea get a simple choice of paint. Bright White or Anvil, both combined with the same black decals.
Underneath, there is a 2-inch lift kit that gives the Wrangler a more purposeful stance. Power comes from the familiar turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, producing 272 hp (203 kW / 276 PS) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic and the Rock-Trac HD full-time four-wheel-drive system, which remains unchanged.

The 20 units of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Trail Hunt Edition are priced at ₩95,700,000 ($64,900) in South Korea. This represents an increase of ₩8,800,000 ($6,000) over the standard Rubicon, despite adding ₩13,250,000 ($9,000) worth of Mopar gear.
For anyone who misses out, or never had a shot at one of the 20, Jeep Korea is offering the same parts separately at reduced prices. Elsewhere, the approach is more familiar. Buyers can source the components through Mopar or opt for one of Jeep’s other special editions under its ongoing “Twelve 4 Twelve” campaign.
