Cars from Singer are extraordinarily expensive, if you can even buy one. The firm’s order books are filled for upwards of four years, and when a rare Singer creation like the DLS hits the used car market, they’re trading hands for upwards of $3 million. If you want something from Singer that’s a little less expensive, however, there’s a solution without wheels.

Unbeknownst to many, the founder of Singer Vehicle Design, Rob Dickinson, also founded a high-end watch manufacturer, Singer Reimagined. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, the center of the luxury watch world, the firm offers a slew of different models, and its latest might just be the most impressive.

Known as the DualTrack, the new watch is a complex chronograph that can display two time zones thanks to an intricate face featuring a 24-hour disc that continuously orbits the dial.

The watch features a 43 mm stainless steel case with a velvet black dial, a golden center circle, and an anodized and sandblasted aluminum second-time-zone disc, available in Meridian Green and Horizon Red. Unlike some automotive watches, Singer’s isn’t overly complex, adopting much of the same subtlety as the company’s restored and modified Porsche 911s.

Most of the watch’s complexity is visible only from the back, where all the intricate parts are located, including the four barrels. The watch also has a six-day power reserve, and the four-barrel design apparently helps to minimize amplitude drops and maintain chronometric performance, whatever that means in the world of high-end watches.

While Singer’s latest timepiece is much cheaper than one of its cars, that doesn’t mean it’s affordable. Indeed, prices start at CHF22,500 ($28,800), and that excludes VAT and local taxes.
