It shouldn’t come as a surprise that there was a lot of interest about Chinese-Israeli startup brand Qoros and its new ‘3’ compact sedan during the press days of the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, which will be open for the public until March 17.

The 4,615mm long sedan is the company’s first model and it will go on sale in China and Europe in the second half of the year, with Autonews reporting that it will be priced under €20,000 (equal to about US$26,000 at today’s exchange rates).

That said, the Qoros sedans on display at the Palexpo venue in Geneva were pre-production cars, intended to represent the final product very closely. What this means is that if you pay attention, you will no doubt find some rough details like the one(s) discovered by the Czech crew over at Autoforum.

The most interesting was what seems to be a last-minute addition for the opening of the boot on one of the display models. Check out the video below and you’ll see what we mean.
