German Tuner Has 17 Solutions To A Problem Cadillac’s Escalade Definitely Didn’t Have

Few SUVs carry the kind of road presence the Cadillac Escalade does. For more than 25 years, it has played the role of a rolling statement piece, but even by those standards, this one pushes things into entirely new territory.

German tuner Larte Design is responsible for this latest take, and it’s clearly not interested in blending in with the crowd. The company has worked its magic on the full-size SUV before, but this marks the first time it has gone all-in with a pink carbon fiber kit for the Cadillac. For anyone tired of the usual blacked-out formula, this unapologetically loud approach might be exactly the point.

In total, Larte has bolted on 17 separate carbon fiber pieces across the SUV, each one leaning harder into excess than the last. Up front, it kicks off with a pink carbon splitter flanked by two small daytime running lights. There’s also a reworked grille surround, along with a completely new hood carved up with multiple air channels. It certainly grabs attention, but likely provides no aerodynamic or cooling benefit.

The pink carbon parts continue down the sides of the Escalade and include new wheel arches, wing mirrors, and trim strips on the base of the doors. Larte has also crafted a pink carbon fiber, roof-mounted spoiler for the SUV, in addition to a matching diffuser, and pink carbon accents on the tailgate.

We have no idea what would motivate someone to order accessories for their Cadillac Escalade that look like this, but clearly, there are people out there who want something even flashier than regular carbon fiber.

This also isn’t Larte’s first experimentation with pink carbon fiber. Back in February, the tuner also unveiled a similar treatment for the Porsche Cayenne, and, as expected, it proved just as polarizing as this Cadillac.
