Renault believes the updated version of the electric City K-ZE could be perfect for ride sharing in European markets.
Renault plans to have 8 EVs in its range by 2022, and going for the popular C-segment seems like a logical choice.
The budget EV could be a modified Renault City K-ZE, which recently went on sale in China from $8,700.
The City K-ZE has a rapid charge function, allowing to get the battery up to 80 percent in 50 minutes.
Both the e30 and City K-ZE battery electrics will debut at the Shanghai Auto Show next week.
The K-ZE City will launch in China at first and in global markets after.
