The sheer difference in size and weight between cars and commercial trucks often result in heavy injuries and even death for drivers and passengers of the former in the case of an accident, which is why many motorists have a primordial fear of lorries.
And sometimes, rightfully so, as you can see for yourself in these two fresh incidents with different outcomes that were captured on camera in Russia.
In the first video, the trucker lost control and entered the opposite lane, but amazingly, the drivers of all three involved vehicles, including a truck and two passenger cars, reacted immediately and with a little bit of luck, avoided a potentially deadly situation.
The drivers and passengers of five (!) vehicles in the second incident that occurred this past Saturday on June 14 (the date on the video is wrong, according to the uploader), near the Russian seaside resort of Dzhubga, were much less fortunate, as the red truck slammed into the vehicles. Local media reports said that no one was killed, but some of the drivers and passengers suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transferred to the hospital.
