I’ve always found it ridiculous that BMW M is offering an X5 M and not an M7, considering that Mercedes-AMG has two high-performance sedans based on the S-Class in its lineup.

Who knows, maybe this latest generation BMW 7-Series will be the first one to get an M7 model. If you were wondering how BMW’s latest flagship luxury sedan would look like with a full BMW M kit, this rendering from X-Tomi may give you a rough idea.

The digital artist made the 2016 BMW 7-Series look a lot more aggressive by significantly lowering the ride height and by adding BMW M’s signature front bumper with extra large air intakes. The imaginary BMW M7 also features a gloss black splitter as well as gloss black accents on the grille, mirror caps and the lower part of the doors.

Here’s hoping that rumors are true and BMW will finally bring an M7 next year. According to a report from last month, the M7 may get a turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 engine with around 600PS (592hp).
