If you are going to squeeze 751hp out of the Chevrolet Camaro SS, you deserve to find out if you are faster than a Dodge Challenger Hellcat.

Hennessey exhibits the straight-line performance of their supercharged 2016 Camaro SS HPE750 against a stock Challenger Hellcat, the current power champion in the muscle car community.

The American tuner’s HPE 750 upgrade pack includes a TVS2300 supercharger running 7 psi of boost, a full exhaust system with 1.75-inch stainless long-tube headers and high-flow catalytic converters, CNC ported cylinder head ports and many more that raise the output of the LT1 unit to 751hp at 6300rpm and 734lb ft of torque at 4000rpm.

The Texan company claims a 0-60mph (96km/h) in 3.1 seconds, with the quarter mile dealt in 10.7 seconds @ 131mph and the top speed now set at 205mph (330km/h).

Add to these stunning figures the fact that the Camaro SS is a much lighter car (3,685lbs/1,671kg) from the Challenger Hellcat (4,469lbs/2,027kg) and is no wonder that the HPE750 leaves the loud Dodge to dust in every opportunity.
