The seventh consecutive video on the development of the Nissan Juke-R project is out. In this latest clip, Nissan tells us about the transformation of the standard Juke’s body that was widened and modified accordingly to cover the GT-R engine and drivetrain hiding under its skin.

Not surprisingly, Nissan Europe and its technical partner RML made plenty of use of carbon fiber panels on the build to keep the weight of the small crossover down.

Nissan has not yet said when it will fully reveal the street legal prototype that features the GT-R’s 3.8-liter bi-turbocharged V6 with 480-horses as well as its advanced all-wheel drive system and electronic aids, more of which we’ll learn about in the eighth video due sometime next week.
