Undeniably, the big stars at Chevrolet’s North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) booth will be the seventh generation of the Corvette and the all-new Silverado pickup truck.

However, GM’s best-selling brand will also showcase some of its global offerings sold in other markets outside the United States.

“NAIAS kicks off the global auto show season and gives us a unique opportunity to show off the depth of Chevrolet’s global product lineup,” said Mary Barra, GM senior vice president of Global Product Development. “The appearance of these five global vehicles further reinforces Chevrolet’s commitment to tailor vehicles to our customers’ needs around the world.”

The five models to go on display in Detroit include the Trax small crossover, which is a sister model to the U.S. market Buick Encore, the Orlando 7-seater minivan that is available in Canada, among other countries, the Sail small sedan built in China, the Onix subcompact hatch tailored for Brazil and the Spin compact minivan.

You can find more details and pictures for each model by clicking on the respective links. So, do you think any of these cars should come to the U.S. or should they stay where they are? Voice your thoughts in the comments after the break.
