Lancia has not been in a good shape for a while now and a quick look at its current range is more than enough to realize why. A special edition model and a very light makeover are the only novelties at Lancia’s Frankfurt Motor Show stand.

The Voyager S is a special edition that extends Lancia’s “S” range, until now comprised of the Ypsilon S Momodesign and the Delta S by Momodesign. The minivan’s styling touches are limited to a new glossy black chrome plated front grille, new glossy black 17-inch alloy wheels and the “S” logo on the tailgate. On the inside, there’s black leather and fabric with grey stitching, gloss black trim on the dashboard and steering wheel inserts and the “S” logo on the front seat backrests.

The model is available with two engines: the 283hp 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 gasoline unit and the 178hp 2.8-liter turbodiesel. Both engines are linked as standard with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The Lancia Voyager S will be available from January 2014 on all European markets.

The second “novelty” in Lancia’s stand will be the Delta MY2014. The quotation marks are there for a reason: the updates are very discreet, almost invisible. The exterior features side skirts and bumpers painted in the car’s color and twin chrome exhaust pipes. That’s all for the exterior, while the interior now comes with trim on the center console in glossy black and matt black for the steering wheel insert, instrument panel, buttons and central console trims.
