If you’re visiting this site and reading this post, we’re going to assume that you’ll somehow find a way to squeeze in 22 minutes to watch Mark Higgins smash the Isle of Man lap record in the new 2015 Subaru WRX STI.

In the beginning of June, the former British rally champion posted a lap time of 19 minutes and 26 seconds with an average speed of 116.470 mph (187.40 km/h), but a couple days later, he set an even faster lap time on the 37-mile course at 19 minutes and 15 seconds, which equates to an average speed of 117.510 mph (189.07 km/h).

Higgins had set the previous record of 115.36mph (185.61 km/h) in 2011 with a 2011 WRX STI.

The onboard video that was released today includes both car and driver telemetry along with commentary by Mark Higgins.
