McLaren’s 916PS (903hp) P1 hybrid-supercar needs little introduction as it’s the kind of daydreaming material teens hang up on their bedroom wall.

BAC’s Mono, on the other hand, is a less known quantity, but make no mistake; this things is bloody fast, because while it has half the cylinders of the V8 McLaren with the naturally-aspirated Cosworth engine producing around 280hp, it weighs a heck of a lot less (1,395 kg vs. 540kg).
