Post-war American car design really took off and by the end of the so called “golden era,” in the mid 1970s, designers had reached the peak of flamboyance and innovation through their work.

The documentary we’re previewing here is called “American Dreaming” and it’s all about the men and women who pushed established conventions with their often radical designs. Back in the day, everything was obviously also sketched on an actual drawing board, and you’ll get to see many of those sketches once the film launches.

It’s not released yet, and what you see posted below are two trailers; the second one is older, released in mid-February, while the first one is just out. We don’t know exactly when it’ll be made available for the public, but it’s certainly one documentary we’ll be keeping an eye out for.
