Two weeks after seeing TechArt’s latest batch of Cayenne Aero Kit pictures, now we’re getting word about their new powerkit, good for 700 HP and 920 Nm (679 lb-ft) of torque.

If exterior design isn’t your thing, then maybe a considerable bump in power output over the Cayenne Turbo’s standard 519 PS and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) might just get you to raise your eyebrow and nod your head as if you’re impressed.

Think of the Turbo’s 0-100 km/h (62 mph) time of 4.5 seconds and its top speed of 279 km/h (173 mph) and now think just how far an extra 180 HP plus 170 Nm (125 lb-ft) could go. In fact, we’ll tell you!

With the TechArt TA058/T2 power kit, your Cayenne Turbo will be able to hit 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds and go on to cruise at a top speed of more than 300 km/h (186 mph). That’s about as good as the Bentley Bentayga by the way.

The power delivery is set to two stages. Stage one gives you 640 HP during normal operation, whereas the full 700 HP are unleashed at the push of a ‘Sport’ button.

Just as impressive is the car’s 0-200 km/h (124 mph) sprint time of 13.8 seconds – which is what you’re looking for if you’re racing somebody on the drag strip (hopefully not the highway). As for 160 km/h (99 mph), that comes in just 9.1 seconds.

TechArt also say that despite the increase in power, fuel consumption and emissions have risen only slightly. We’re talking about a less than 1% bump in fuel economy and 0.8% more CO2 emissions, which means that “slightly” would indeed be a very correct term to use here.

But wait, there’s more! TechArt is also making this power kit available for Cayennes wearing a Magnum body. As you may have seen, the TechArt Magnum is one of the most aggressive and muscular designs available to Cayenne owners looking to customize the look of their SUV.

And since it will be made available a little later on this year, we won’t have to wait for too long in order to see it.
