Jeep’s popularity in the UK is on the rise compared to last year, as they have not only registered their best month of September ever, but also the third-best month overall in the UK for the 4×4 manufacturer.

On September alone, sales went up 175% compared to the same month in 2014. Year-to-date, the increase was almost 200%, driven mostly by the brand’s B-Segment Renegade model.

Jeep registered 762 cars in September 2014 compared to 2,097 cars last month, while market share also went from 0.18% in 2014 to 0.45% this year. As for the per year totals, Jeep sold 8,420 cars this year versus 2,844.

The new Jeep Renegade was the company’s best selling model in September (1,299 units sold), followed by the Grand Cherokee (356) and Cherokee (335).

“The sales figures are fantastic news, not only for new Renegade, but for the Jeep brand as a whole,” said Damien Dally, head of brand Jeep UK. “It is quite clear that more people are turning to Jeep for their next car, as we bring exciting new models to the UK.”

Dally also announced that there was more to come from them, saying that Jeep will certainly not “stop here” in terms of their growth.
