McLaren’s answer to the Ferrari FXX K is called the P1 GTR. The track-only supercar is currently the pinnacle in the brand’s portfolio and one of them was delivered in London.
The footage shows the circuit beast being unloaded from a transport truck. Needless to say that it managed to attract quite a crowd and the cameras went crazy. Don’t expect any fast driving on public roads though, because it is not street-legal.
However, previous reports indicated some of the P1 GTRs will be homologated for street use and there is one that has allegedly already received this treatment.
The GTR is based on the 916 PS (903 HP) P1 and it was given a lot of tweaks to make it faster around the track. After going on a diet to lose weight and with its twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 and electric motor pumping no less than 1000 PS (986 HP), it finally showed its face earlier this year.
