A Lamborghini Aventador selling for less than a quarter of its original price tag is not something that happens too often, especially since we’re referring to a beat up supercar.

The Italian exotic was apparently too much for its former owner, who couldn’t cope with the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 700 PS (690hp) and 689Nm (508lb-ft) of torque, propelling the model from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9sec and up to a top speed of 350km/h (217mph).

ArabGT reports that the Tron Aventador was destroyed in a rollover impact at the Dubai docks, which left almost every body panel twisted and its airbags deployed, but that didn’t stop someone from paying no less than $350,000 dirhams, or the equivalent of $100,000 for it.

The supercar’s new owner lives in the United Arab Emirates and he bought it in Dubai. The man, who prefers to stay anonymous, said that he will return the Aventador back to its former glory. Even though every car guy out there hates to see an exotic in this shape, we have to admit that this is not an easy project, even if one can afford it.
