The British manufacturer seems to have ended development of the new DB11, as the sports car looks just about ready for prospective buyers.

With no background info whatsoever, Twitter user RudyB001 claims to have caught DB9’s successor on camera in its full glory, revealing its design with the company’s signature grille, headlights with incorporated LED DRLs, muscular hood and what seems to be a carbon fiber front apron, in an overall shape identical to the photo posted two weeks ago.

Hiding underneath the fresh sheet metal covers there is a newly developed aluminum chassis, with a lightweight suspension, while a new 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 churning out close to 600hp will sit under the hood. Reports state that the twelve-banger will be accompanied by AMG-sourced V8s.

If the preliminary info turns out to be true, then the automaker is expected to offer a manual gearbox too, along with an eight-speed automatic, but we have to see it to believe it. With its public debut reportedly scheduled for March 1, at the Geneva Motor Show, it won’t be long until Aston will lift the covers off the new DB11.
