After the official announcement of Matt LeBlanc joining Top Gear as a presenter and Chris Evans tweeting a photo with Chris Harris in it, a new report claims that Eddie Jordan is the next one to be confirmed as a Top Gear presenter.

According to the RadioTimes, former F1 Team owner Eddie Jordan is going to be the next name of the new Top Gear series. Jordan hasn’t signed yet his contract but according to the report, this is just a formality, with both parties having already agreed.

The new Top Gear series is scheduled for debuting on May 8th with a new “pyramid-presenting structure” with Chris Evans sitting on top of it. Racing driver Sabine Schmitz and our favorite Chris Harris are expected to co-host the show on a semi-regular basis.

67-year old Eddie Jordan founded the Jordan Grand Prix F1 Team which raced in Formula 1 from 1991 to 2005. Jordan then became the lead analyst for F1 coverage on BBC from 2009 to 2015.

The official announcement is expected within days.
