Even though Nissan models are generally available with a wide array of active safety technologies that reduce the chances of having an accident, the inevitable bumps and scrapes can be a lot harder to mitigate.

This is why Nissan has launched a new scheme to help unlucky customers get their car back from the shop as quickly as possible, while looking like it did when it first left the showroom.

The Painted Bumper Program basically offers a fast and efficient method of getting your vehicle repaired following a low-speed impact or scrape – which is what around 70% of accidents consist of, according to an European study.

By having pre-painted bumpers in stock, Nissan dealers can guarantee an exact color match for your car, as well as a factory-quality finish on demand to go with their next-day delivery (workshop) service.

In total, the program is available for 7 Nissan models (past & present), with a mix of 28 different colors. Among these cars are the current Juke, Qashqai and Note as well as their predecessors. If you include the Qashqai+2, that makes seven models in total.

This launch has been spearheaded by the success of the Painted Mirror Caps Program, which Nissan started back in 2012.
