SsangYong XLV 7-Seater Teased Ahead Of Geneva

At last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, SsangYong showcased the XLV-Air, a concept that previewed a new variant of the Tivoli slated to debut in production form in early 2016.

True to its word, it has now published a set of sketches that depict the exterior and interior design of the Geneva-bound model.

Essentially a longer Tivoli, the new Korean crossover will be named the XLV and come with a third row of seats and increased luggage space.

Size isn’t the only thing that will separate the XLV from its sibling. The slightly redesigned and cleaner front and rear bumpers, as well as the third lateral window make it look more imposing and proportionally balanced.

Just like the Tivoli, it will be offered with a choice of 1.6-litre diesel engine mated to manual or six-speed automatic transmissions. As standard, it will come with front-wheel drive, though afour-wheel-drive system will be optional.
