Project Kahn Showcases The Wrangler Black Hawk Edition

Project Kahn’s Chelsea Truck Company (CTC) division released the hardened variant of its Jeep Wrangler program, called the Black Hawk Edition.

Although the Wrangler has become a familiar appearance in Project Kahn’s curriculum, it never got the attention it deserved from the tuner, getting only a few upgrades down the line. Nevertheless, this latest model finally received the same treatment that made the CTC Wide Track Defenders so appealing, sporting aggressive-looking, utilitarian wide wheel arches, and a redesigned grille and bumper assembly.

Painted in a smooth Volcanic Rock exterior color, the car also features Chelsea Truck Company’s grille, bedizen with industrial mesh, flanked by the two (now smoked) round headlights. A new set of Kahn wheels adds to the overall aggression of the build while the quad-cross-hair exhaust system could signal major changes under the hood – although Kahn didn’t make any official announcements about the performance of the vehicle, just mentioning it will be available in both petrol (gas) and diesel models.

The Wrangler’s cabin has been adorned in leather, with new quilted and perforated honeycomb leather seats with gold top stitching. Even the center console received the same treatment, adding a new high-end feel to the cockpit.

Love the exterior. The front-end is fantastic. Not a fan of the lux interior. The seats look as if they have a nasty rash.

So impressive, really like this a lot. I think the seats should be dark gray.

Funny they tried to make an Range Rover of it? It looks ridiculous…not the right car, not that style…
