The material, mechanical and intrinsic value of some automobiles has become so important that almost everybody believes a high-end, rare and stunning model should be treated with kid gloves, before being locked away in a collection. Not this bloke though.

Takeshi Kimura of Car Guy enjoys his Ferrari to the fullest, taking it where few F40s have gone before. A snowy mountain road isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when you’re thinking at the mid-engine supercar, which kind of makes this experience, and the video, as exotic as the vehicle itself.

As you’d imagine, a rear-wheel-drive, twin-turbocharged mid-engined V8 Ferrari from the late 1980s isn’t the ideal car to challenge a sky slope, but there’s nothing a good set of tire chains can fix. And who needs a boot anyway, you can just strap your luggage to the vehicle’s roof and be on your way.

Entitled Snow Camp feat. Ferrari F40, the video was made in collaboration with Red Bull, but Kimura-san did some shenanigans with his Ferrari before, a couple of years ago, when he took it camping.
