Peugeot continues the teasing game of the second generation 3008 with yet another image that places the crossover’s exterior in the spotlight.

What’s mostly interesting about the latest teaser is that it wasn’t released by the French manufacturer, but by Focal, a company specialized in range-topping audio systems, meaning that the vehicle will be equipped with a specially-developed sound system from the Saint-Etienne-based firm.

Aside from the high-fidelity speakers, the upcoming 3008 will also benefit from the next-gen i-Cockpit, with a new fully customizable 12.3-inch digital instrument customer. An 8-inch retractable touchscreen will be used for the infotainment system and the almost-flat steering wheel will sit 2 mm lower than before, meaning that the dials in the instrument cluster will be easier to read.

On the outside, the crossover will get a large trapezoidal grille, slimmer headlights and a large silver add-on on the lower part of the bumper, as a spy video recently revealed, while underneath the new body panels, the EMP2 platform is found, which is also used on the 308. A similar array of engines is expected to be shared with the compact hatch and, for an extra cost, future buyers will get to order an all-wheel drive arrangement.
