Normally, an older-generation fast sedan wouldn’t even hold a quarter of a candle to a modern-day Lamborghini, though once you add the Morendi-Weistec tune, that C63 turns into a whole new beast.

The Lambo has less weight and better traction on its side, whereas the 770 PS Merc has more power, plenty more torque and doesn’t exactly weigh as much as a house – it’s a C-Class, not a GLS.

We’ve seen plenty of tuned 800-ish PS saloons and coupes hold their own against genuine supercars and once you stop to think about it, you’ll realize that nearly 800 PS is a whole lot for a car like the old C63 – remember this 700 PS one taking on a 900 PS Corvette ZR1 last year and winning the 1/4 mile portion of the race?

On the other hand, the Huracan is very good at putting its 610 PS down once the driver releases the brake. It needs just 3.2 seconds to hit 100 km/h (62 mph), so we guess it can more than hold its own – or does it?
