The Mercedes-AMG G65 was originally intended for the Middle East, but the the brand saw the opportunity to make some extra cash by selling it to other markets, too.
After he paid almost $220,000 to acquire it, actor, comedian and producer Kevin Hart decided to spend more on a few extra touches, like the window tint and a fresh set of Forgiato wheels. With the work being completed, the 37-year old man posed next to the redone G-wagon and shared it with his 38.7 million Instagram followers, who shared his love.
Hart’s latest ride of choice joins another expensive and powerful machine into his garage, a Ferrari 488 GTB, which replaced 458 Spider.
Powering the SUV is a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12, rated at 612 HP (621 PS) and 738 pound-feet (1,001 Nm) of torque, which is paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission that sends the output to all four corners; driving from rest to 60 mph (96 km/h) takes just 5.3 seconds.
For his next set of wheels, dealers might want to recommend the more hairy-chested G500 4×4, if the manufacturer will decide to offer it Stateside, that is, or catching a good deal on a used, more rugged, rarer and more imposing G63 6×6.
