Having recently retired as one of the greatest Laker players in history, Kobe Bryant deserves all the accolades that have been attributed to him, and then some.

Snoop Dogg, a well-known Lakers fan, thought that his own 1967 Pontiac Parisienne would make for an excellent retirement gift, and judging by Kobe’s tweet after receiving the car, it really did.

If you look closely at the hood, you’ll notice this sort of alternate universe Lakers team where Snoop plays ball alongside former Laker greats such as Magic, Kareem, Wilt and of course Kobe (#24) is there as well.

It seems that Snoop has had this car for a long time, which probably made parting with it even more difficult. Back in 2010, even Larry King got to drive it, and sometime that same year, it also got impounded according to Jalopnik, due to its driver having a suspended license.

Aside from the “Lakers Mural”, this 67 Pontiac also comes with a hydraulic suspension system capable of raising or lowering the vehicle at the flip of a switch.

While Kobe may not be the type of person to go out and showboat in a lowrider, he definitely seems appreciative of the gesture.
