Akita Nahai’s RAUH-Welt Begriff, or RWB, has become a cult to some Porsche fans and gearheads around the world, and this is how a bespoke 911 comes to life.

Purists might, understandably, not approve, for the creation of RWB Porsches requires “butchering” modern-classic 993s and 964s.

In contrast, the idea appeals to many, especially as it creates a combination of an old-school, wide-body 911 with hand-crafted, race-inspired elements. Rauh-Welt Begriff literally means “rough-world concept”, and the motif can be seen throughout the finished product and the work process.

Nakai-san was recently in Philadelphia to build the latest Rauh-Welt Begriff Porsche for enthusiast Ben Harmony. Known as “Prince”, the car was completed in two days and everything was documented in the video below.
