Australian student Luke Moore spent AU$2.1 million on sports cars, speed boats, strippers and cocaine after a bank glitch that gave him an unlimited overdraft.

Instead of notifying the bank for the computer error, Moore made increasingly large withdrawals and transferred the funds into multiple accounts, according to The Sun.

Moore lived lavishly for two years, treating himself to a $91,000 Aston Martin, a $36,000 Maserati 3200GT, $30,000 Hyundai, an Alfa Romeo, a boat and a framed Michael Jordan shirt, among other things.

Eventually, the bank glitch came to light and the 29-year-old was arrested and slapped with a four-year jail term last year. Moore went free last week after winning an appeal of his conviction on the grounds that his actions were not deceptive.

He’s now broke and living with his mother in Goulburn, New South Wales, while studying to become (of all things…) a criminal lawyer.
