Comparing a real life situation with a popular videogame like GTA has been overdone, but there aren’t many other ways to describe this scene of a drunken driver chased by police at the Kazan airport in Russia after midnight on Wednesday.

The incident that was recorded on film saw police officers in Kazan, Tatarstan, pursue a suspect at the local airport.

The man’s erratic behavior on the road caught the attention of the cops, but he wasn’t exactly eager to stop and face them, so in his attempt to flee the scene as quickly as possible, he drove into the airport terminal, leaving $100,000 worth of damage behind.

Identified as 40-year old Ruslan Nurtdinova, the man was eventually arrested, and after running a background check, officers found him to be a former employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Tatarstan Republic, and currently involved with a private security company, as Pikabu reports.

At the time of his arrest, Nurtdinova was intoxicated with alcohol and drugs, and a substance suspected of being marijuana was found in the car.
