Porsche brought the latest member of the Panamera family to Goodwood, showing off its wagon shooting brake bodystyle in front of thousands of spectators.

Driven by former F1 racer and Le Mans winner Mark Webber, the new Panamera Sport Turismo went up the famous hill climb, exercising all 542hp of its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8. Porsche claims a 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds (0-100km/h in 3.6 seconds) with Sports Plus engaged and a top speed of 189mph (304km/h).

The longer roofline from the B-Pillar and back makes the Sport Turismo look more balanced than the already much improved Panamera sedan, but also allows for more headroom for the rear passengers –which are now three of them– and the obviously bigger luggage space with 520lt in capacity.

Porsche was even able to keep the active rear wing at the back, which can be deployed in three different ways, depending on driving conditions and settings. Most impressive wagon on the market right now? We certainly think so.
