Pink GTC4Lusso Will Make Ferrari Execs Sick

Like the Ferrari FF that came before it, the GTC4Lusso divides opinions.

Many people praise the four-seater for its unbelievable driving dynamics, plush ride and luxurious interior while others remain insistent that Ferrari should never have built a car like it. Whatever your thoughts on the GTC4Lusso, we bet you’ll agree that this build, is at the very best, controversial.

Wrapped in a bright shade of Magenta, the car certainly stands out but would probably make Ferrari executives feel sick in the stomach. Perhaps the only saving grace of the car are its unique gold wheels supplied by Vossen and offering an excellent view of the yellow brake calipers and huge rotors behind.

Despite its controversial look, the GTC4Lusso is undoubtedly a technological marvel. Power comes from a naturally-aspirated 6.3-liter V12 engine with 680 hp and 514 lb-ft of torque. The car then uses an advanced all-wheel drive system where the seven-speed transmission drives the rear wheels and a small, second gearbox sends power to the front. There’s also four-wheel steering as standard.

I don’t mind pink but I hate wraps. And those goofy blue lights.

    • gor134

Why do you hate wraps? There are a lot that are really well done.

      • Six Thousand Times

They’re fine for commercial vehicles and racing cars but they come undone in a year or two.

No they don’t. I’ve had several vehicles wrapped and one of them, even though I sold it, still has the wrap i put on it, looking just fine, 5 years later. My friend has a CLK black series that he wrapped 6 years ago, still looks great. Not to mention, all my wraps came with 5 year warranties on them.

          • Six Thousand Times

Our vehicles live a harder life than most but I’ve see them go bad, bubbling and whatnot. Good you’ve gotten a warranty. We’ve never had a reason to worry about five years. The other thing I don’t like about wraps is how naff they are. You can always tell when the driver opens the door or the hood. Maybe I’m just form that old-school generation “Do it right or don’t do it at all.” Bit of a dinosaur, me.

          • Kash

The shop that’s done mine wraps the whole door and usually i do an obscene color under the hood just because. Or my husband had one of his old cars wrapped in matte and gloss black and then under the hood and around the doors was done in BRIGHT pink. it was awesome and we got tons of compliments on that.

I’ve never heard of a shop not offering a warranty, the very least the wrap manufacturer offers one usually for 2 years. Hell my window tint has a lifetime warranty on it and the labor.

          • Six Thousand Times

Typically it’s the lessees who arrange their own wraps after I provide the trucks or vans so I’m not heavily involved with warranties. The grades are likely different, too.

Though after hearing about your and your husband’s tastes in wraps, I’d have to say the shorter the shelf life, the better. 😉

I like it. It’s just the right shade of fuchsia to not be too saccharin. The wheels are all wrong for it though. The fuchsia and gold do not go well together. It needs some flat black wheels with a nice deep brushed metal lip. That would definitely anchor this Ferrari back in the land of the serious.
