The 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class can already be ordered in selected European markets in both four and five-door body styles.

Pricing for the Saloon starts at €39,948.30 ($49,283) in Germany, tax included, for the C200 grade. It combines a 184PS (181hp / 135kW) and 280Nm (207lb-ft) of torque turbocharged 1.5-liter petrol engine with a 9-speed DCT and RWD. The mid-range version of the family car, for the time being, is the C200 4Matic, which adds four-wheel drive and carries a €2,380 ($2,936) premium.

Finally, the C220d 2.0-liter diesel, rated at 194PS (191hp / 143kW) and 400Nm (295lb-ft) of torque comes in at €42,328.30 ($52,219).

The facelifted C-Class Estate, in the same flavors, kicks off with €41,614.30 ($51,338), €43,994.30 ($54,274) and then again €43,994.30, respectively. All variants will arrive at dealers this July.

Plenty of options to choose from

Additionally, the cars can be ordered with a host of optional extras. The Driving Assistance Plus Package, which adds S-Class-like driving assistance systems, costs €2,499 ($3,083), while the MultiBeam LED headlights cost €1,963.50 ($2,422).

There’s also the fully-digital Instrument Display available at €892.50 ($1,101), with a 12.3-inch high-res instrument cluster, and the Energizing convenience adjustment (€238 / $294) that “enables a specific wellness set-up tailored to the mood and need of the customer”, according to Mercedes-Benz.

The company’s famous Multicontour Seat package, with massage functions, side bolsters and lumbar support, individually adjustable by an electrically driven pneumatic pump, costs €702.10 ($866).

Finally, the Comand Online with 3D navigation system, real-time traffic info density, Car-to-X warning messages, fuel prices, gas stations and available parking spaces, among others, is the most expensive option yet, at €2,915.50 ($3,597).

The AMG models are coming, too

Mercedes has yet to put price tags on the 2019 C-Class Coupe and Convertible, as well as the facelifted AMG C63 lineup.
