Bentley’s New Continental GTC Bavaria Edition By Mulliner, Pays Tribute, To You Know, The German State

Bentley would like to introduce the world to its latest limited edition model, the Continental GT Convertible Bavaria Edition by Mulliner, inspired by the “beauty of the Bavarian region.”

The car is the brainchild of Bentley Design boss Stefan Sielaff and is said to be one of a kind, with Mulliner handcrafting just one limited edition model in Crewe, England, before its presentation at an exclusive event at Bentley’s Munich retailer.

All about Bavaria

Distinguishing the car from other Continental GTC models are features such as its iconic Bavarian colors, where the Glacier White exterior and Imperial Blue roof are meant to reflect the German region’s flag pattern.

Speaking of which, you can also find said pattern in a chrome finish on the front fender with enamel infills (Mulliner Bespoke White and Light Blue Sport). Then there are the 22-inch Mulliner Driving Specification wheels and the bright chrome lower bumper grille, adding to the car’s sense of style.

As for the interior, there are Bavarian flag pattern embroidered seat headrests in the same Bespoke White and Light Blue Sport as on the outside, a Bentley Bavaria Edition tread plate inlay, a Mulliner Glacier White painted dual veneer with an Imperial Blue hide, and rounding everything off is the white contrast stitching and piping, which can be found on the seats, door panels, center console, steering wheel and even the floor mats.

While performance figures weren’t specified, we expect power to come from a twin turbocharged 6.0-liter W12 unit, paired to an eight-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. With the aid of 626 HP (635 PS) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque, the Continental GTC can accelerate to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.7 seconds (0-100 km/h in 3.8 sec) and max out at 207 mph (333 km/h).
