Rebellion Racing is going to make a statement at the 24 Hours of Le Mans next week thanks to the pair of wild LMP1 art cars it will enter in the race.

The first is the number 1 car, set to be driven by Neel Jani, Andre Lotterer, and Bruno Senna. The car has a wild paint scheme with splashes of purple, green, blue yellow, and black across the exterior. While the car won’t be as quick as the Toyota TS050s also competing in the LMP1 class, it promises to turn just as many heads – if not more.

Rebellion’s second vehicle wears the number 3 that will be shared by Gustavo Menezes, Nathanael Berthon, and Thomas Laurent. Its livery is made up of largely the same colors as the number 1 car but is perhaps even more eye-catching.

“We have immediately liked the true contemporary artist flair of RocketByz,” Rebellion chief executive Calim Bouhadra said. “When we get started talking about our Le Mans collaboration, everything was going fast and very strong between us, as we share this rebel DNA with RocketByz. It is so exciting and challenging to introduce our art car and all our new artistic branding in the motorsport playground and make it happen during the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans.”

Toyota is the firm favorite to take victory at next week’s Le Mans 24 Hours, as it is the only manufacturer team competing in LMP1 alongside privateer entries from Rebellion, SMP Racing, ByKolles and DragonSpeed.
