2020 Cadillac XT6 Launches ‘Crew Ready’ Campaign Directed By The Russo Brothers

Cadillac has launched a new campaign for their upcoming 2020 XT6, with the ‘Crew Ready’ spot directed by none others than Hollywood hotshots Anthony and Joe Russo.

The campaign focuses on the roomy interior of the new three-row SUV, which makes it ideal for carrying all types of crews, ranging from “a squad of rocker dads to a team of powerful stuntwomen”.

“The XT6’s ‘Crew Ready’ campaign signifies a new way of thinking about Cadillac SUVs,” said Deborah Wahl, Cadillac’s chief marketing officer. “XT6 customers are always ready for an adventure, and we knew closely partnering with the directors of the highest ever grossing film, the Russo brothers, and Bullitt was the perfect way to bring this vision to life.”

The 2020 Cadillac XT6 sits between the XT5 and Escalade in the brand’s lineup, offering seating for up to seven. Power comes from a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 310 HP and 271lb-ft (373Nm) of torque and is paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The new XT6 is available in Premium Luxury and Sport trim and is also the first Cadillac to offer a Bose Performance Series audio system with 14 custom-tuned speakers. In addition, the cabin can be upholstered in semi-aniline premium leather and feature Cadillac’s air ionizer.

On the active safety front, the new XT6 offers a wide range of driver assistance systems as standard, like Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, Front Pedestrian Braking, Front and Rear Park Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and more. Options include an Adaptive Cruise Control, Night Vision, Rear Pedestrian Alert and more.

Pricing for the 2020 Cadillac XT6 starts at $53,690 for the FWD Premium Luxury and $58,090 for the Sport, which has more aggressive styling and all-wheel drive as standard.

what does the word “Dunk” have to do with a transportation vehicle?

    VERB
dip (bread or other food) into a drink or soup before eating it.
    NOUN
    basketball
a shot downward into the basket with the hands above the rim.

    • Bash

      NAME
      As in Dunkin Donuts. 😉

    • Kash

It’s using the basketball version of the word, so it’s basically saying it’s big enough in the 3rd row for people tall enough to dunk a basketball.

  • LJ

It took two directors to film a commercial where I could barely see the car?

    • Enter Ranting

They don’t want you to see the car. It’s a hideous letdown.

  • TrevP

I hate that this is so underwhelming. I’d rather get an Enclave.

  • Matt

Diversity in advertising is not new.

    • dumblikeyou2

where in my sentence did I spell the word “new”?

      • Matt

When you use the phrasing something ‘is in’ it refers to said thing being topical, or currently trending.

        • rodriguez256

          Lol exactly.

        • dumblikeyou2

          Still doesn’t answer my question

  • 85ZingoGTR

They are going to need all the marketing firepower they can get to get this thing out from under the shadow of the far superior Aviator.

  • TheBelltower

Cadillac Marketing – See, we’re cool too. We love the same music you love… rap music, right!? C’mon diverse urbans, PLEASE buy our HELLA DOPE SUV. Don’t even bother comparing with Lincoln. We’ll give you 84-month financing, zero down.

I fully expect that in five years, more of these will be parked on lawns than in garages.

    • Enter Ranting

They’ll be parked in Avis lots at the airport, passed up for their competitors.

  • Enter Ranting

Is this the fruit of their time in New York? Cadillac is hopeless. This vulgar SUV will be discounted from day one.

  • Harry_Wild

Dam, that was great car commercial for XT6! Now I just have to wait for the “big” discounts from Cadillac! It mine then!

  • Andrewthecarguy

The XT6 is starting to grow on me…

  • Rob

This looks like a remade Honda or Subaru. Come on Caddy, this this is a joke. Go back to your design from when the CTS and CTS coupe looked awesome and stop trying to add these artful designs to a place silhouette.
