The new generation BMW Z4 has captured the attention of tuners, with most of the industry’s big names already having parts for the German roadster in their portfolio.

Lesser known companies also want a piece of the pie with 3D Design, a tuner based in the Land of the Rising Sun specialized in modifying BMWs and MINIs, coming up with its own visual updates for the G29.

Their proposal includes a urethane front apron that can be attached to the factory M Sport bumper and a carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) rear diffuser. These suit the M Sport 20i and M40i versions of the open-top Bimmer, while the ducktail spoiler, made of urethane, can be fitted to all Z4s.

In addition to the aforementioned parts and a stainless steel exhaust system, 3D Design has several 19-, 20- and 22-inch rims that suit the new Z4. These are available in different widths, patterns and finishes, and can be had with the company’s own center caps.

Features available for the interior include pedal kits and footrests, upgraded steering wheels, complete with carbon fiber paddle shifters in cars fitted with automatic transmissions, aluminum handbrake levers, floor mats and boot mats.

Power bumps aren’t on the menu for the new Z4, but they are for its predecessor, so who knows, maybe they’re in the making.
