Dahler has tapped into the tuning potential of the new BMW M850i xDrive Coupe and Convertible, creating an absolute beast that’s more powerful than the M8 Competition lineup.

With the Stage 1 kit installed, the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 pumps out 636 PS (627 HP / 468 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque, up 106 PS (105 HP / 78 kW) and 100 Nm (74 lb-ft) over the stock M850i. The M8 Competition model boasts 625 PS (616 HP / 460 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft), and sprints to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.3 seconds.

Review: The BMW M850i Convertible Is Too Expensive For Its Own Good

You might think that Dahler is done with tuning the mechanicals of the open-top M850i, but you would be wrong, because they have already announced another power upgrade. “A bit more is even better! Stage 2 with even more power is under preparation”, they said, without teasing any numbers. Nonetheless, we reckon it should bump the output perhaps to 650 or close to 700 PS (641-690 HP / 478-515 kW), so we will definitely keep an eye out for it.

The tuner has a stainless steel exhaust system in the making as well, with four tailpipes and rear end silencer, that provides a deeper tone, alongside the height and hardness adjustable coilover kit that’s also being developed as we speak.

Meanwhile, you could get other parts for the car that are already on their shelves, such as the front spoiler lip, lowering springs and 21-inch wheels, made in-house, with Michelin tires wrapped around them. For the pricing and availability of each part, you will have to contact Dahler directly.
