Surprisingly, Mansory Goes Soft On New Ferrari 812 Superfast Tune

Mansory has accustomed us with wild tuning projects over the years and the Ferrari 812 Superfast makes no exception.

Rather surprisingly, the German tuner revisits the Italian supercar and gives it a rather tame package of add-on parts (compared to Mansory’s norm), suggestively called 812 Softkit. It consists of several carbon fiber parts that offer the 812 Superfast a more aggressive appearance without making it look vulgar.

At the front, Mansory adds an add-on lip spoiler in visible carbon fiber, composed of two parts. Above them there’s a front splitter that “hugs” the grille.

Also at the front, one can spot front air outtakes on each side of the bumper, right behind the vertical fins. Moving on to the rear, Mansory proposes a bumper extension made of two parts that surround the double exhausts. Between them there’s a new rear diffuser with Formula 1-style integrated LED brake light.

All these add-on parts are made from visible carbon fiber in a glossy finish, but Mansory also offers them in a matte finish. Other changes visible in these photos include a custom set of black wheels, Mansory crests replacing the Prancing Horse on the front fenders, and smoked taillights.

There’s no word on performance upgrades, though the stock 812 Superfast hardly needs one. As a reminder, the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 delivers 800 PS (789 HP) at 8,500 rpm and 718 Nm (530 lb-ft) of torque at 7,000 rpm. Dispatched to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the mechanical muscle enables a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).
