Last year’s SEAT e-Scooter concept has morphed into the eScooter 125 production model as the Spanish carmaker has unveiled its new SEAT MO urban mobility brand.

The SEAT MO eScooter 125 is an all-electric motorcycle designed to make urban travel easier. It combines a 9 kW (12 HP / 12 PS) electric motor integrated into the rear wheel and a 5.6 kWh battery to provide up to 125 km (77 miles) of driving range.

Equivalent to a 125cc motorcycle (hence the name), the eScooter 125 is destined both for private use or vehicle sharing companies. The electric motor delivers 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a top speed of 95 km/h (59 mph) and a 0-50 km/h (0-31 mph) time of only 3.9 seconds.

Interestingly, the 5.6 kWh battery can be removed and plugged into a home power socket – though it can be charged while on the motorcycle too. The system is made with fleet customers in mind, as they can simply swap batteries over to keep the vehicle on the road with minimal downtime.

The electric motorcycle comes with several driving modes (City, Sport and Eco), as well as a reverse gear to make maneuvering simpler. It features a modern design and can be had in three exclusive matte paints: Daring Red, Dark Aluminum and Oxygen White.

The SEAT MO eScooter 125 also offers onboard storage for up to two helmets in the under seat compartment, or a combination of helmet and other items. It also comes with two USB ports and a tracking app.

SEAT MO eKickScooter 65 joins electric scooter lineup with a 65-km range

Alongside the eScooter 125, the new SEAT MO brand has also unveiled the eKickScooter 65 production model. The eKickScooter 65 joins the existing eKickScooter 25 (formerly known as the eXS KickScooter) in SEAT MO’s electric scooter lineup.

The SEAT MO eKickScooter 65 is a last-mile electric scooter with a fleet-specific design that enables it to cover 65 kilometers (40 miles) on a full battery charge. That’s made possible by a 551Wh battery pack. The battery powers a 350 W electric motor, which enables the eKickScooter 65 to conquer a climbing angle of up to 20 degrees. In order to comply with regulations in some markets like Germany, the top speed is limited to just 20 km/h (12 mph).

The electric scooter rides on tubeless pneumatic tires and features a drum brake on the front wheel and a rear electronic brake. The eKickScooter 65 allows users to choose between three driving modes: Eco, Drive and Sport. The model will be available with an exclusive Daring Red matte paint.
