If you want a Lamborghini Miura, it’s not only going to cost you an arm and a leg, but also a liver, kidney and perhaps a cornea too.

The best examples come with a 7-digit price tag, and while the estimated value of this beautiful Miura SV hasn’t been announced, it should sit in the same range.

SilverstoneAuctions has it up for grabs at their online event scheduled for July 31 and August 1, and stated that it was produced to European specification on March 31, 1972. Chassis #5036 was eventually commissioned by the Australian Lamborghini importer and switched to right-hand drive, alongside another example, lifting the number of such cars by two, to 11.

Shortly after it arrived Down Under, it was sold to a Lamborghini enthusiast, who kept it until 1975. The second owner held on to it until 2004, when it was sold with 30,266 miles (48,708 km) on the clock. Lamborghini Australia recommissioned it and took care of the restoration, which is estimated to have cost over AU$80,000 (US$55,265). The work included the cleaning and recoating of the chassis and stripping and rebuilding the suspension and running gear.

Some work was also done to the engine, but it wasn’t until 2010 when the 4-liter V12 was rebuilt in the possession of its new owner, at 31,659 miles (50,950 km), for AU$77,543 (US$53,569). Subsequently, the Miura SV was imported to the United Kingdom, and later on, the decision to respray the body in the original color, Rosso Corsa, was taken, as the paint had started to show its age. Currently, the odometer reads 32,015 miles (51,523 km).

The highly desirable Miura SV boasts a factory fitted air conditioning, radio and the optional limited-slip differential, and is dying to be driven again.
